Nevena Stanic Kovačević

Nevena Stanić Kovačević is a Miami-based music writer, multi-instrumentalist, educator, and music-art curator. In her research, Nevena focuses on minimalism and postminimalism, the music of Steve Reich, experimental music, sound art, Orthodox music, and Serbian postmodern music. Having performed as a double bassist all over Serbia and Europe, Nevena immersed in tango and world music. Nevena is engaged in curating operations, events, publicity, and marketing, mostly with Miami's Foundation for Emerging Technologies and Arts (FETA) from Miami. Nevena's music articles and reviews have contributed to Artburst Miami, Culture Owl, and South Florida Classical Review.
