Soundologia Anthology Volume 3 – Double-CD Release

Soundologia Records presents Soundologia Anthology Volume 3: South Florida Contemporary Composers & Sound Artists, the most extensive edition of the Anthology series to date. Spanning two CDs and featuring works by 17 composers and sound artists with more than 35 performers, Volume 3 continues Soundologia’s documentation of South Florida’s contemporary and experimental music scene. The collection brings together new and archival works across a wide range of approaches – from electroacoustic and electronic music to instrumental composition, experimental jazz, sound art, and collaborative performance. Featured artists include Charles Norman Mason, Federico Bonacossa, Orlando Jacinto Garcia, Dorothy Hindman, Jacob David Sudol, Richard Garet, Gustavo Matamoros, José Hernández Sánchez, Juraj Kojš, Jose Veliz, Eden Grey, and others.

Volume 3 was premiered at the Soundologia Anthology Festival on September 26, 2025, at The Bridge Miami during the Subtropics Marathon weekend. The festival presented works from the anthology through two programs – Acoustic Anthology and Electric Anthology – featuring live performances by many of the participating artists. The digital edition and accompanying booklet, with detailed composition notes by Pedja Kovačević and design by Dimitry Saïd Chamy, were released on October 20, 2025, alongside the double CD on Bandcamp.
